References: You may use your textbook, class discussions and weekly modules as a primary source of information. It is important that you support the information presented with appropriate references and that all references and quotes are cited correctly. All sources, including websites must be referenced in the Bibliography or References list. You must follow an accepted authority for style and form (e. g., APA style, MLA style).

Papers must be double spaced and have standard margins (1 inch on each side). The length of the paper is not the primary measure of the quality of the paper however as a guideline, minimum 4 pages required Ensure to cite all references and quotes correctly; all sources used must be referenced in the Reference section
Organizational Behavior/Human Relations
The final project will focus on your human relations skills and assist you with developing a plan to implement the key points learned this semester within your workplace and personal lives to cultivate positive Human Relations.
SECTION I – Personality, Self-Concept and Leadership Style
Describe your personality, self-concept and leadership style.
State how it’s effective/ineffective within an organization. SECTION II – Human Interaction Skills
Describe Human Relation skills which ae important for engagement and motivating employees and the impacts on workplace productivity.
Identify the challenges and opportunities of managing a diverse workforce.
Reflect back to the course modules, textbook as well as any resources you reviewed throughout the course to assist you with this section.
SECTION III – Personal Development Plan/Leadership Philosophy
For this final section, consider all the coursework for this semester which includes textbook reading assignments, videos, and modules that allowed you to complete sections I and II above. State five concepts you learned and how these concepts apply to you in a positive way. Next, reflect upon your personality, self-concept, and human relations skills that you learned this semester and state your personal leadership philosophy. Example:
During this semester, I was introduced to five new concepts as it relates to Human Relations. The concepts learned include:

Concept 3- State why you selected this concept
Example: The three concepts stated above, will assist me with developing positive relationships within my work environment. I also identified the need to make some adjustments in my human relations skills to continue interacting and building positive relationships at work and in my personal life. My personal development plan consists of identifying my strengths and weaknesses. Also, I will need to assess my personality and make adjustments as needed thereby improving my human relation skills. My strengths include, showing empathy, positive attitude and building positive relationships. However, I need to work on (state what areas need improvement). I know that by creating a personal development plan it can guide me along the path to success. Using what I have learned this semester that Human Relation is the foundation to positive human relations at work and in my personal life, I can now focus on what aspects that will assist me with avoiding the pitfalls of negative human relations. Also, I learned that I have extrovert tendencies which was reaffirmed by taking the personality test. My results from the personality test indicated my personality as ESTJ (Extrovert, Sensing, Thinking, Judging) which means that I tend to focus on myself and live more in the moment than planning ahead. It also informed me that I seek attention from others and look to them for validation. An area to consider improving is the ability to investigate myself for validation and don’t live in the moment.
In my personal life I generally have an issue with apologizing and as part of my personal development plan, I will know apologize when I know an apology is warranted as it will improve the relationships which mean a lot to me.
My leadership philosophy is to be a leader who ensures the “Human” component is a part of all of my relationships by engaging in effective communication, providing timely feedback, practicing active listening, demonstrating empathy and embracing the diversity as well as unique contributes of all cultures.
SECTION IV My Three Human Relations Goals
Use this section to identify three relevant goals you will need to implement in order to enhance your Human Relation skills which will improve your overall relationships at work and in your personal life. Answer the following questions for each of your goals:

Passive behavior occurs when you put other people’s preferences or needs ahead of your own. While sometimes this is necessary to build relationships, it can become a problem if you are consistently passive in a way that allows it to become a barrier to your success.

The one key points that will resonate with me forever are1) Positive Human Relations is Important – By having positive human relations within my work environment and in my personal life; 2) Attitude is everything in life, having a positive attitude equates to a happy life.
