For my final project I’ve decided to go with use of social media by technology companies: how the companies can improve traffic for their websites via social media platforms, access to advertising, new products, customer feedback, etc. This topic particularly interests me as due to the pandemic all of the big companies implemented work from home environment and were reimbursing employees for purchased technology, I was not the exception and spend about a month while searching what would work better and provide me with same characteristics as the equipment I would normally use in the office. I’m planning on pulling the data available on the Web by using data scrapping tool, however, not sure how feasible that would be due to data privacy, would need to learn about the tools and how to use them. Based on the data gathered, I would make recommendations on how companies can improve their traffic, what customers are looking for, price range, and other.
